The consortium consists of seven organizations from six countries, each having a specific role according to their expertise and interest.

Estonia
Kuressaare Gümnaasium

Kuressaare Gymnasium’s Education and training centre Osilia is a unit of Kuressaare Gymnasium. Osilia’s mission is to support the development of Saare County by offering quality education and competitive courses to meet people’s needs. Osilia’s main objective is to organise futher education and non-formal adult education in the region, including teacher training.

Žilinská univerzita v Žiline
University of Žilina with its sixty-five years of history belongs to one of the leading educational and scientific institutions in Slovakia. The Institute of Lifelong Learning provides study programmes based on critical thinking, especially in the sphere of media literacy and education of university educators on a long-term basis. It also has experience and expertise in the preparation of study programmes and courses for future university educators, future teachers and future educators for adult learners 45+.

Public Open University Čakovec is an adult education institution founded in 1955 by the city of Čakovec. It is one of the leading adult education institutions in the Republic of Croatia and a member of the Croatian Association for the Education of Adults seated in Zagreb. This lifelong learning centre has always evolved to meet the demands of our society. It remains a dynamic setting open to changes as well as social and economic influences dictating program structure and development.

Bites SMC Vilnius Gabriele Petkevicaite
Vilnius Gabriele Petkevicaite – Bite Adult Education Centre (Bite AEC) was founded in 1994 by the model of the Danish FYN‘S County schools. The motto of Education Centre is as follows: “It is never too late to learn”. The Education Centre is for adults who seek new skills and knowledge required for professional career and life.

Planeta Ciencias
Planeta Ciencias is a nonprofit association that works since 2005 with innovative methodologies of teaching science to children, youth, teachers and adults in general, through hands-on and practical activities. Our main area of expertise is teaching values (such as critical thinking, media literacy, active listening, non-discrimination, cooperation instead of individualism, teamwork, etc.) through Inquiry Based Learning methodology and scientific methods.

VHS Krempe e.V.
The Volkshochschule Krempe e.V. has been active in the Krempermarsch since 1953 as a non-profit association for non-formal adult and youth education. With approx. 500 members it offers as one of the largest local associations courses, meetings, excursions and publicy promoted projects in the ranges society and life, art and culture, health and sport and digital media. With 1400 teaching hours, the VHS reaches over 1000 participants annually. The VHS is looking for a modern educational program which is based on the current needs of the paticipants.

Wisamar Bildungsgesellschaft gGmbH

Wisamar is a non-profit educational institute in Leipzig, Germany, acting in vocational, cultural and adult education. We are working in Labour market and social integration, Further education, EU Mobility & Mobility Consultancy and as Project Office for different EU funded projects. The aim of the organisation is the promotion of education, tolerance and international attitude in all spheres of understanding between different people and cultures.
